Charles E. McKinley, 88, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away on April 15, 2017. He was born on August 20, 1928 in Monon, IN to the late Willard and Tot McKinley. Charles enjoyed gardening, golf, and fishing. Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Max (Alene) McKinley and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jean (Allen) McKinley of 55 years in 2005. He graduated from Monon Indiana High School in 1947. Charles retired from Marsh Foodliners after 40 years of service as a produce manager. The family wishes to thank St. Anne Home Health and Retirement Community and the Parkview Home Health and Hospice for their kindness and care.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at C.M. Sloan and Sons Funeral Home (1327 N. Wells Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46808). Friends may visit with the family one-hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Lindenwood Cemetery.
