Charles Lee Dewey Jr., age 57, of Milford, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023. He was born August 12, 1966 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Charles Lee Dewey Sr. and the late Sandra Lee (nee Smith) Dewey. Chuck graduated from Homestead High School, Class of '84 and a trumpeter with the Spartans Alliance Marching Band. Following graduation, he proudly served our nation as a member of the United States Air Force National Guard. Chuck earned his electrical journeyman's license and would spend his career as an industrial electrician. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, fishing, hunting, and golf but cherished time spent with friends and family the most.
Chuck is survived by his children, Kayla Dewey of Ohio and Charles Dewey III; grandson, Leland Salgado; father, Charles Lee (Karen) Dewey; brother, Derek (Tyla) Dewey; nephew, Damon Dewey; and grandmother, Berniece Smith all of Indiana. He was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Dewey; and mother, Sandra Lee Dewey.
Funeral Service is 11:30 am Saturday, December 30, at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Covington Knolls, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior. Friends and family will also be received 4:00 to 7:00 pm Friday, December 29 at the funeral home. Private interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
