After graduating from Northside High School in 1956, she spent her adult life in Fort Wayne. She was united in marriage to Edward W. Kase on July 25, 1970. She was employed by the Kroger Company at Baer Field as an office manager and then by the Fort Wayne State Developmental Center as a secretary and office manager before retiring in 2000.
Carolyn loved to travel, and her hobbies included Bingo, crocheting/crafting, bird watching and collecting salt and pepper shakers. She was a member F.O.E. #248 , serving as president of the Ladies Auxiliary and also as a member of their Drill Team. Carolyn along with her husband are active members and donated many hours as volunteers at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum and were awarded Volunteer(s) of the year. Many hours were also spent volunteering with NATMUS (National Automotive and Truck Museum). Carolyn was instrumental in assisting her husband with his studying and practicing for participation in the Indiana State Truck Rodeo for multiple years.
She leaves behind Edward W. Kase, a loving husband of 53 years, and beloved children Ron Kase, Deb
(Trevor) Alles, Julie (Ben) Arnold, Cindy Robinson, Don (Gayle) Springer, Janet Redwanski, Pam (John)
Wagner, Steve (Polly) Springer, and Lori Tran-Katafiasz. Also surviving is her brother Ronald Sesney along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Leone Sesney and grandson Casey Tran.

A public visitation for Carolyn will be held Sunday, July 30, 2023 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Maplewood Park, 4017 Maplecrest Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46815. A visitation will occur Monday, July 31, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 4017 Maplecrest Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46815. A funeral service will occur Monday, July 31, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 4017 Maplecrest Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46815.
