Carol Lynn Zook

Carol Lynn Zook, 75, of Fort Wayne, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, March 4, 2022, in Florida. She was born, April 19, 1946 in Columbus Grove, Ohio to Owen and JoAnn Donaldson. Carol retired in 2002 after teaching at Huntertown Elementary School for over 30 years. She enjoyed writing devotionals, reading, traveling, cooking and spending her winters in Florida. Carol is survived by her husband of 49 years, Vaughn; her brother, John (Rita) Donaldson; sister-in-law, Debbie Donaldson of Columbus Grove; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Tedd. A memorial service to honor Carol's life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 18, 2022, at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, with calling one hour prior. The Rev. Mike Drury officiating. Visitation will also take place from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials donations in her honor may be directed to Pine Hills Church, or the Christian Service Foundation.
