Carol M. Bunner

Carol M. Bunner, 85, of Fort Wayne, passed away on April 30, 2016. Born on August 14, 1930, in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Darewood and Matilda Grogg; a graduate of South Side High School and was the manager of The Carriage House Bedding and Bath. She is survived by her children, Dr. Thomas (Trisha) Bunner, Robert Bunner and Jane (James) Hirschbiel; grandchildren, Alexander, Jennifer, Jessica, Jaycee, Casey, Brian, James and Trey; great-grandson, Carter; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Bunner; and brother, Doyle (Carolyn) Grogg; and sisters-in-law, Ann Smith and Mildred Cook.

Funeral service will be 2pm Friday May 6, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be held from 5 to 8pm Thursday May 5, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Leo Memorial Cemetery, Leo. Memorial donations may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association or Parkview Home Health and Hospice.
