Brian Donald Witt, 60, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on April 27th at his home.
Brian was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on July 29th, 1962. He graduated from Snider High School and continued to receive a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at Indiana University Purdue University Fort Wayne.
Brian worked for almost 40 years at various manufacturing companies, most recently as a chemical engineer at Aquatic Bath. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grand daughters, watching sporting events, boating, participating in karaoke nights, and traveling.
Brian was married to his first wife Wanda for 3 years, then was married to the mother of his children, Alice Forbes, for 7 years, and then was married to Amy Lyttle for 12 years.
Brian is survived by his children Matthew Witt and Danielle (Charles) Melton, his grandchildren Joelle Melton and Hazel Melton, his brother Jeffrey (Jane) Witt, his sister Dawn (Robert) Brunner, his nieces Aleyna Brunner, Anastasia (Michael) Brunner, Samantha (Jesse) Crosby, and his nephews Jarrett Brunner, Colten Brunner, Kevin (Lauren) Witt, and Eric Witt.
Brian is preceded in death by his mother Marion Witt and his father Donald Witt.
A visitation for Brian will be held Saturday, May 6, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services – Mungovan, 2114 S. Calhoun Street, Fort Wayne, followed by the funeral service. Reverend Gary Snider will officiate. Interment will be at Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne.
