Brenda Jean “BJ” Otis, 78 of Hoagland, IN passed away November 22, 2018. She was the Manager for Sycamore Hills Turning Point for a number of years. BJ loved to sew, cook, loved barbeque, her dogs, the Kansas City Chiefs and Rock Music. She is survived by her children, Carol (Jim) Cleek, Kelley (Steve) Sobell, Shannon (Paul) Gregory, Morgan (Jeremey) Sims, Wes (Michelle) Otis, she was a beloved Nana to Ryan, Kevin, Daniel, Anne, Brian, Julie, Sam, Corey, Veronica, Alan, 5 great grandchildren, and dearly loved sister, Melissa Carpenter and brother, Ross Mace. She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Imo Jean (Longley) Mace. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 1, 2018 1 PM at D O McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home 4017 Maplecrest Road Fort Wayne, IN with visitation there from 11 AM until the service.
