Bonnie was known for her infectious laughter, stubbornness, and feisty spirit, all wrapped around a big heart. Her favorite show was MacGyver and she could watch it for hours. Bonnie’s life motto was always “it is what it is.” Bonnie enjoyed collecting cookbooks, Christmas and Halloween decorations and the occasional knickknack or five. Her hobbies reflected her love for creating warm and welcoming spaces for her family.
Bonnie is survived by her son Eric Godfrey, daughter-in-law Cheryl Godfrey, granddaughters Alivia Rose and Nevaeh Hope, and grandson Jayden Carter. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gary.
Bonnie will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched with her unique spirit and love.
Funeral Services for Bonnie will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 16, 2024 from at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Lakeside Park, 1140 Lake Avenue, (46805). Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Burial in Markle Cemetery - Markle, Indiana.
