Bonnie Roth Dye, 73, of Hobe Sound, Florida, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at her son's home in Birmingham, AL. Born in Fort Wayne, IN on March 16, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Walter A. and May L. (Gibson) Roth. Bonnie graduated from Elmhurst High School in 1967 and later attended IPFW. She worked for Bell South for many years in Birmingham, AL. After retiring, she moved to Hobe Sound, FL where she worked as a message therapist. She is survived by her son, Ryan (Kara) Dye; grandson, Ellis; step-daughter, Jeanine (Harold) Dye Garcia; step-grandchildren, Christopher Garcia and Ashely Garcia Ruiz; sister, Janice (Clayton) Roth Adams; nephews, Kent (Jill) Adams, Kurt (Aline) Adams; and great nieces and nephews, Megan, Erin, Celine, Melinda and Clayton. Bonnie was also preceded in death by her husband, John Dye in 2018; and step-son, David Dye. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46819.
