Beverly Jean Shaw, 82, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on November 6, 2023 at home with her husband and daughter at her bedside. Beverly was born to Harold and Kathryn Barrick on May 23, 1941. She worked for Clark and Mitchell Carpet and Furniture as their bookkeeper until her retirement. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, William Shaw of Fort Wayne; daughter Jennifer (Michael) Carpenter of Fort Wayne; grandchildren Kaitlyn, Aubrey, and Madison Carpenter of Fort Wayne, brother Jack (Rose) Barrick of Ossian, sister in laws Scharlene Lane of Fort Wayne and Diane Heinkel of Churubusco. Beverly is preceded in death by her son, Kevin Chad Shaw and her sister, Linda Anne Barrick. Per Beverly’s wishes there will be no services.
