Betty Jean Forker Brumbaugh, 89, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2017. Born June 8, 1928 in Albion, IN she was the daughter of the late Oliver Forker and Faye Forker-Olinger. She graduated from Albion High School and International Business College. After marrying Paul Brumbaugh she became active in the Arcola community where they owned a grocery store. She later worked for Higgins and Swift Attorneys, John Christman Accounting, and was part owner of Brumbaugh Services a bookkeeping service. She and her late husband of 67 years enjoyed traveling in conjunction with the Lion's Club and were active in local government while he served on the Allen County Council. For the last 12 years, she has been "Grandma" at Chick-fil-A Jefferson Pointe. Surviving are her daughters, Susan Pape and Sharon (Jeffrey) Hoffman; grandchildren, Robert Warner, Jeffery (YunAh) Pape, Jennifer Pape, Andrew (Angie) Hoffman, Elizabeth (Aaron) Kelpin, Bob Pape, Mike (Tonya) Pape, and John (Joy) Pape; as well as a host of great-grandchildren. Betty was also preceded in death by her brothers; twin brother, Bill Forker, Kenneth Forker, and Paul Forker. Service is 10:00 am, Friday, September 1, 2017 at D.O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Ave with calling one hour prior. Calling also Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
