Barbara “Barb” Thieme, 76, of Albion, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022. She was born on February 24, 1946 in Fort Wayne. She worked as a manager at Park Center, Inc. for 20 years before retiring in 2008. She was a Purdue alumnus. She enjoyed her dogs but most of all, she will be remembered for her love of gathering with her family. Surviving family include her children, David C. (Tracy) Thieme, Jr. and Melissa (Bret) Berkes; four grandchildren; Jeffrey (Stacey), Samantha, Joshua Thieme, and Skylar Berkes; four Great Grandchildren; Anthony, Arabella, Maddox, and Kennedy Thieme. She was preceded in passing by her parents, James Kavanaugh and Betty (Prayther) Fletter; husband, David C. Thieme, Sr.; and brother, Kenneth Fletter. A celebration of life gathering will be from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne.
