Barbara Ann Smith

Barbara Ann Smith, 88, of New Haven, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2022. Born in Peoria, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Kathryn Smith. Barbara was a teacher with East Allen Community Schools in Fort Wayne for 34 years. Surviving are 10 nieces and nephews, with a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. She was preceded in death by four siblings. A memorial service to honor Barbara's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at New Horizons Fellowship, 1330 Werling Road, New Haven (IN 46774). Pastor Jeff Elliott will be officiating. Arrangements by D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne.
