Barbara J. Munson

Barbara J. Munson, age 85, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022. Barbara was born November 16, 1936 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Barbara was a breast cancer survivor. She was a member of United Faith Presbyterian Church, where she was a volunteer for the food bank. She retired from GTE after 35 years of service. Barbara is survived by her children; Mark Eloph, and Sandra (Daniel) Jones, grandchildren, Natasha Jones and Crystal (James) Wolford, and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Andrew and Thela Van Allen, and brothers; Donald and George Van Allen. A visitation for Barbara will be held Sunday, March 13, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 North Wells Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46808. A visitation will occur Monday, March 14, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 1327 North Wells Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46808. A funeral service will occur Monday, March 14, 2022 at 11:00 AM, 1327 North Wells Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46808. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery.
