Barbara A Henry

Barbara A. Henry, 84, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday June 23, 2013, at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home, Fort Wayne. Born on January 3, 1929, in Fort Wayne she was a daughter of the late, Albert L. and Velma F. Beekman, and a member of St. Peter’s and St. Joseph’s Catholic Churches, Fort Wayne. Barbara received her degree and worked in interior design, and volunteered at Matthew 25.

She is survived by her children, Charles M. (Patti) Henry III., of Garrett, Steven M. (Jewel) Henry, of Punta Gorda, FL., Christine M. Saul, of Charlottesville, VA., Peter M. (Jean) Henry, of Fort Wayne, and Nicholas M. (Jennifer) Henry, of Spokane, WA.; brother, Eugene A. Beekman, of Phoenix, AZ; as well as ten grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by husband of over 64 years, Charles M. Henry Jr., in 2012

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM Saturday, July 6, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 518 E. Dewald St., Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be held from 3 to 8 PM Friday July 5, with rosary service at 7:30 PM, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes, Wayne Street Chapel, 420 W. Wayne St., Fort Wayne. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorial donations may be given to Gibault Home for Boys, St. Peter’s Catholic Church, or St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Fort Wayne.
