Barbara J. Brown

Barbara J. Brown, age 81, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023. Barbara was born in Fort Wayne on Sunday June 21, 1942. She was the daughter of the late Luke and Lillian(Spice) Fairfield. She worked at Sears and Roebuck for over 25 years as a sales clerk. Barbara is survived by her children Roger (Sherry) Brown and Karen (Michael) Williams; sister Ruth Ross; grandsons Mitchell (Timarie Gates) Bloom and Nicholas Bloom both of Fort Wayne; and great-grandson Brecken Bloom. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband of 44 years, Charles Brown. A visitation for Barbara will be held Friday, December 1, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 North Wells Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46808, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery.
