Ann D. Fisher, 79, passed away Friday, September 5, 2014 at home. Born in Rensselaer, IN, Ann worked as a registered nurse for more than 50 years. She was an avid card and Scrabble player, and she enjoyed following her favorite Chicago sports teams and reading novels. Most precious to Ann, was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She now rests in heaven with her husband, Norman. Those still celebrating her life today are daughters, Donita Fisher, Katrina (Court) Newcomb, and grandchildren, Leah (Ryan) Keena, Kyle Newcomb, and Kalib Fisher.
Visitation is Saturday, September 13, 2014 from 11- 1 PM at Klaehn, Fahl, Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road. Service to follow at 1:00 PM. Memorials may be made to Visiting Nurse Home & Hospice and the Alzheimer’s Association.
