Angel Hennie Maldonado

December 22, 2000 – October 4, 2024

Angel Hennie Maldonado was a beloved son, father, brother, and friend whose presence brought warmth and energy to those around him. An athlete at heart, Angel had a passion for basketball and boxing, always pushing himself to reach new heights in everything he pursued. His dedication and drive made him a formidable presence in the sports he loved.

Beyond the court and the ring, Angel had a deep love for modern muscle cars, especially his cherished Hemi 300 project, which he took great pride in restoring and customizing. His enthusiasm for cars reflected his hands-on nature and his drive for perfection.

Angel also had an eye for style and self-expression, taking pride in his appearance and the way he presented himself to the world. He dreamed of becoming a barber, finding inspiration in the art of the craft and the possibilities it offered for his future.

Family and friends were at the heart of Angel’s life. He cherished time spent with loved ones, whether during holiday gatherings or just being together. He shared a special bond with his younger brother, Luis, whom he deeply loved and guided. Their connection was a source of strength and joy in Angel’s life, and his memory will live on through their cherished moments together. His love and devotion extended especially to his daughter, Kior, who was a central light in his life.

Angel is survived by his daughter, Kior Maldonado; his mother, Stephanie (Rivir) McCormack; his brother, Luis A. Maldonado; his father, Angel Maldonado; and his stepfather, Benson McCormack. He leaves behind many friends and family members who will forever hold him in their hearts.

Services for Angel will be held at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals. Family and friends are invited to gather on October 16, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. His body will be laid to rest on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at a family burial plot. All who knew and loved Angel are welcome to join in remembering and celebrating his life.
