Andrew David Hiatt

Andrew David Hiatt, 44, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2017, at Parkview Hospital. Born February, 8, 1973 in Fort Wayne, he was a graduate of Northrop High School, class of 1991, where he was active in the marching band and show choir. After graduation, Andrew pursued his education at ITT Technical Institute earning a Bachelor Degree in Electronics. Andrew was a member of St. Joseph UMC for over 40 years, a member of the Anthony Wayne Toastmasters, and loved attending gigs for his brother’s band, Sum Morz. He is survived by his parents, David & Ellen (Howenstine) Hiatt of Fort Wayne; brother, Chad (Tiffany) Hiatt of Fort Wayne; sister, Laura (Noah) Klima of Joliet, IL; nephews, Phillip Hiatt and Jonah, Caleb, Micah, and Joel Klima; and niece, Lillian Bodie. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles and Marjorie Howenstine; and paternal grandparents, Hilda (Thomas) Dugger and Harold Hiatt. Memorial Service will be 5pm Friday, December 22, 2017 at St. Joseph UMC, 6004 Reed Rd., Fort Wayne, with calling two hours prior. Rev. Russ Abel officiating. Inurnment at a later date at Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church. www.advantagefunerals.com.
