Andre "Andy" Spencer

Andre "Andy" Spencer, 60 passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022. Andy was born November 18, 1961 in Elyria, Ohio to the late Alex and Carolyn Spencer. As a child he moved to eastern Kentucky. He obtained a bachelor's degree from the University of Kentucky. Andy had worked as a quality consultant for several years. He was a devoted member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church for over 32 years and sang in the church choir. Andy was also a member of the Tri-State Pipe and Tobacco Club. He had a passion for the outdoors. Andy enjoyed hunting, fishing, and competitive shooting. He also enjoyed cheering on the University of Kentucky Wildcats. Andy is survived by his wife of 31 years, Kathy Spencer; sons, Trevor (Amy Watkins) and Tyler (Katy Dyson) Spencer; grandchildren, Ava, Alexander, Silas, and Sophia Spencer. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46809 with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, February 28, 2022 at the funeral home. Final resting to follow the service at Covington Memorial Gardens.
