ALICE M. GALLOWAY-EBY, 86, of Fort Wayne, passed away Friday, Sept. 28, 2012 at her residence. Born Oct. 26, 1925 in Fort Wayne, her life was devoted to ministering to people around the world including Fort Wayne and Surrounding areas. She is survived by her daughters, Ruth M. Hack of New Haven and Deanna K. (Don) Torres of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Marjorie Meeks of Fort Wayne and Faith Moss of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Eugene W. Galloway who died in 1997; second husband, Gene W. Eby who died in 2007; daughters, Patricia J. Line and Cheryl L. Carlson; parents; two sisters; and one brother. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012 at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Rd., Fort Wayne. Pastor Rick Hawks officiating. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012. Burial Lindenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to The Chapel Missionary Fund.
