The Lord allowed him to celebrate his 88th birthday before calling him to his place of rest in the comfort of his home on Sunday, March 24, 2024.
Albert retired from BF Goodrich after 35 years of service. He was a member of United Rubber Workers Local 715 and United Steel Workers Local 715.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two children, Tamula S. Lewis and-Kerry Lewis and a brother, Charles Lewis.
Albert leaves behind his loving and devoted wife of 44 years, Doris LeShore-Lewis; children, Michael, Ricky, Alvin (Valerie), Antoinette, Sheila, Ronald, Bridgett and Jeffrey Lewis and Tina (JR) Gasnarez; stepsons, Darnell, Kevin, Jason, and David LeShore; sister, Rena Farmer of Detroit, MI; sister-in-law, Minnie Lewis of Lansing, MI; a special nephew, Ricky (Denise) Lewis, someone special who was near and dear to his heart, Angela Lewis, 19 grandchildren, along with a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and Albert’s Lansing, Michigan family.
