Wilma Weeks

Wilma Rae (Stiles) Weeks, 95 of Fort Smith, AR passed away peacefully on August 26, 2022 at Mercy hospital. Wilma was born on May 9, 1927 to Eutah and Lena (O’Neal) Stiles in Ratcliff, AR. Wilma attended and graduated from Branch school and attended Mt. Hope Church, where her great-grandparents were charter members. She loved to talk about the brush arbor meetings. After 28 years of marriage, Wilma’s first husband Ralph F. Simpson passed away and she worked as a receptionist then later worked as a bookkeeper. Wilma found love again and married Harold M. Weeks, Jr. in July 1987.

Wilma had a devoted faith in GOD and attended church regularly, read her Bible, and prayed faithfully for her family.

Wilma is survived by her two daughters, Phyllis Lundy (Gene), Linda McFarland (Darrell), grandchildren Brian Lundy (Jacqui), and Heather Lundy; great grandchildren, Jaden, Brayton and Nathan; a sister, Jean Mathis and brother, Bobby Stiles.

She is preceded in death by her parents Eutah and Lena Stiles, spouses, Ralph F. Simpson, Harold M. Weeks, Jr., and a sister, Millie Kirby.

Services for Wilma will be at 10am on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at East Side Baptist Church in the chapel with visitation one hour prior. Burial to follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
