Wilma McCauley

Wilma McCauley, 93 of Fort Smith, passed away Friday, August 28, 2020. She was born May 28, 1927 in Charleston, AR to Clyde and Kate Spiller. She was a retired kindergarten teacher for Hobson Preschool and was a long time member of Central Presbyterian Church in Fort Smith. Wilma was very active in the Fort Smith Little Theater, served on the board for both the Sack Lunch Program and the Fort Smith Chorale and was a member of the St. Edward Auxiliary. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Carl McCauley; the father of her children, Harold E. Adams and a stepson, Kevin McCauley.

A private memorial graveside service will be held at a later date, cremation arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Smith and her husband Kevin, of Eureka Springs; her son, Hal Adams and his wife Gail, of Dallas; seven grandchildren, Amy Mickle, Mitzi Mickle, Collin Smith, Madeline Butler, Aaron Adams, Jesse Adams and Rachel Acosta; four great grandchildren, Melissa Marbury, Aliyah Hall, Osiris Smith and Atlas Smith. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters-in law, Daniel and Virginia McCauley of Hurst, TX and James and Diane Dickson of Tiller, AR.
