William Arthur Long, 66, of Roland, passed away March 6, 2013 in Fort Smith. He was born January 1, 1947 in Cario, Illinois, to William A. and Doris Mae Kidd Long. He was an employee of the Baldor Corporation, a Veteran of the U.S. Army, and loved woodworking.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Linda Long of the Home; one daughter, Danelle Nipper of Liberty, OK; three sisters, Doris Mae Warren of Phoenix, AZ., Rebecca Long of Belton, MO., and Tama Moffitt also of Belton, MO; four brothers, Kenneth Long of Missouri, John Long of Memphis, TN., Fred Long of Apache Junction, AZ., and Danny Long of Los Cruses, New Mexico; and one grandchild, Daniel Dennis.
A family Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
