Bill was born on October 2nd, 1946 in Pine Bluff, AR, the son of William E. Sr and Margaret Curry.
Bill graduated in 1968 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biology from Arkansas A&M College (currently known as the University of Arkansas, Monticello). He worked as an orderly at Jefferson Hospital when he ran into a beautiful blonde lab technician in the Emergency Room. He and Donna married June 21st, 1969. After graduating from Dental School at the University of Tennessee in 1973, he completed his residency in Oral Surgery in 1979 from UT.
Bill and Donna moved to Fort Smith, AR in 1979 where he practiced Oral Surgery for over 40 years. Not only was he known for his professional achievements, but loved for his kindness, gentleness, and gregarious laughter. He always saw the good in everyone he came in contact with and was eager to lend a helping hand.
Bill converted to the Catholic faith at Immaculate Conception Church in 1985. He was an original member of the Immaculate Conception Men of Faith group and was instrumental in increasing its membership. He was ordained a Deacon for the Diocese of Little Rock in June of 2022, one week after being diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer. We are forever grateful for his many sacrifices, and his dedication to prayer for all of us.
