Tanner Smith, 33, of Fort Smith, died May 12, 2016 at CHI, St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock, AR. He was born May 4, 1983 in Fort Smith to Robert Craig Smith and Elizabeth Mann Kennedy. Tanner became an avid Razorback fan by age four. He could dissect every game, quote every statistic, and remember every bad call. He had a love for all animals and a variety of music, and his friends knew he was always ready to lend a helping hand where needed. Number one in Tanner’s life though, was his family, who will sorely miss his quick wit and his warm heart.
Tanner is survived by his wife, Erika Lynn Smith of Fort Smith; one son, Tanner Layne Smith of the home; his mother, Betty Brinker of Fort Smith; his father, Craig Smith of Fort Smith; two sisters, Susan Phelps of Fort Smith and Holly Smith of Fort Smith; and niece and nephew, Bryleigh and Braeden.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Ryan Jay, James Dial, Wallace "Skip" Hudson, Derek Lewis, and John Le.
The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Monday evening from 5-7 PM.
