Sue Burrow Strain

Sue Burrow Strain, 84, of Pensacola, FL, passed away Friday, December 26, 2014 in Pensacola, FL. She was born July 17, 1930 in Sallisaw, OK. She was a retired Beautician/Beauty Instructor. She was formerly of Ft. Smith and a member of Druid Hills Baptist Church. She lived most of her life in Tulsa, OK and was a long time member of Heatherridge Baptist Church. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, January 3, 2015, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Akins Cemetery near Sallisaw, OK under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith, AR. She is survived three sons and their families, Jimmy and Elaine McClanahan of Shawnee, KS, Bobby and Rebecca McClanahan of Grove, OK, and Ronnie and Martha McClanahan of Pensacola, FL, two step daughters and families Charlotte and Eddy Broad of Tulsa, OK and Barbara and Kirby Carpenter of Pryor OK, two sisters Myrtle Scott of Rogers, AR and Gerry Foreman of Colcord, OK, 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 4 great- great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.
