Sue Glover, 78, of Fort Smith, died August 8, 2015 in Fort Smith. She was born June 28, 1937 in Fort Smith to Thelmer Clyde and Lela May Nye Boone. She was a member of the first graduating class of the Nursing School of Westark Community College and was a retired RN for Sparks Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years.
She is survived by two daughters, Genia Smith of Fort Smith and Janet & husband Ken Edwards of Franklin, TN; one son, Danny and wife Kathy Glover of Fort Smith; six grandchildren, Ashley & husband Jason Salmons of Bella Vista, AR., Natalie & husband Jeff Cabe of Greenwood, AR., Grant and wife Jennifer Glover of Fort Smith, Jonathan & wife Miriam Edwards of Chicago, Ill., Matthew & wife Caitlin Edwards of Franklin, TN., and Zachary Edwards of Franklin, TN; and eight great grandchildren, Hunter & Tanner Cabe, Lily, Jake, & Maddox Glover, Jack & Elam Edwards, and Alex Salmons. She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years Jack E. Glover.
Memorial service will be Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 10:00 AM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Private family burial will precede the Memorial Service. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Grant Glover, Jeff Cabe, Jonathan Edwards, Hunter Cabe, Matthew Edwards, and Zachary Edwards. Honorary pallbearer will be Tanner Cabe. The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 5-7 PM.
