Steve Helms

Steve Helms, 42, of Fort Smith, died July 26, 2013 in Montgomery County, AR. He was born September 26, 1970 in Fort Smith to Jerry Lee and Mildred Joy Nicely Helms. He was the owner/operator of Pig Pit BBQ and he attended First Assembly of God Church in Barling.

He is survived by his wife Jenifer of Fort Smith; two sons, Kyler and Ashton Helms of Fort Smith; his parent’s Jerry and Mildred Helms of Barling, and niece, Arianna Breshers of Fort Smith along with aunt, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial service will be Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 6:00 PM in the First Assembly of God Church in Barling. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

The family will greet friends in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday evening from 5-7 PM. Viewing will be Wednesday and during the visitation.
