Sarah Lynn Fortner

Sarah Lynn Hale, 45, of Fort Smith, AR, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024. She was born July 21, 1978 to Howard and Earlene (Lewis) Hale. She was a former echo technician at St. Edward's hospital.

She was preceded in death by her mom, Earlene, and her sister Rachelle (Shelley) Cabrera Perez.

She is survived by her children, Joshua Hauser and wife Sarah of New York, Thomas Hauser of Ft. Smith, Alex Fortner of Uniontown, and James Fortner of Uniontown. Her father, Howard Hale of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Her siblings, Lisa Pendleton and husband James of Van Buren, David Hale and wife Mandy of Lavaca, Phung Vo of Baytown, Texas, and Hoa Nguyen and husband Dan of Barling. Her nieces and nephews Jayme Pendleton, Hayden Pendleton, Anna Hale, Jenna Hale, Beau Hale, Nina Nguyen, Thuy Campbell, Daniel Nguyen, Donna Nguyen, and Diana Vaughn. And uncle Jerry Lewis of Florida.

As Sarah would say, "The end is coming. Get saved and be blessed."

Memorial services will be 10:00 am Friday, January 19, 2024 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, interment of her ashes will be at Roselawn Cemetery.
