We were so sad to hear of  Miss Ruth’s passing. She was a vital and integral part of our neighborhood for so many years.  I never heard her say a bad word about anyone.  I know she missed Carl greatly after he passed.  We would see her with her little dog watching out the front door all the time.   Our condolences to the family who took such great care of her in her later years.

We will miss you Ruth. We had a lot of great conversations, and I truly treasured  your and Carl’s close friendship. I still have your “ticket” retirement announcement from WWL.

I am saddened by Ruth’s passing, though happy she led a long life. Having worked with Ruth for many years, I appreciated her sense of humor and dignified manner. She was a good example for those around her, and will be missed.
Rest in peace, sweet lady.

Our visits and phone conversations with Ruth were always enjoyable.  Her pleasant personality and optimistic attitude radiated to everyone she knew.  Homebound for many years, she never complained.  Her quick wit and wonderful laugh will always be remembered.  The example she set for all of us will remain in our hearts forever.

Ruth went all through school with my mother and Jodie Conger.  The conversations they would have at Ladies Auxiliary every Wednesday!  Such a blessing to our faith community.  We will miss her dearly but know she’s walking comfortably and laughing with her classmates and friends.  Loved her so much!      Gail Riser Bradney

you will be greatly missed. I will hold you always in my heart and thoughts! Thank you for all your love, even across the miles that separated us and made traveling difficult.  I will miss hearing your voice and laughter from our phone visits.
