Robert M. Lawrence

Robert M. Lawrence, 77, of Fort Smith , Arkansas , died March 3, 2012 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was born February 21, 1935 in Essex , Missouri . He attended school in Advance, Missouri, was an SE Missouri State College Graduate in 1958, and he served in the US Army during the Korean War. He worked in the space industry for 12 years from 1958-1970 and he was an insurance agent for Millers Mutual in Alton , Illinois for 21 years.

He is survived by his wife, Jerry Lawrence of the home; one daughter, Karen Lindsey and her husband, Kevin of Fort Smith, AR; one son Robert D. Lawrence and his wife, Teresa of St Charles, MO; one sister, Marilyn Bohnsack of St Louis, MO; four grandchildren, Melanie Haynes of O’Fallon, MO, Kurt Lindsey of Austin, MN, Kody Lindsey of San Diego, CA, and Benjamin Lawrence of St Charles, MO; as well as one great-grandson, Leo Haynes of O’Fallon, MO.

Memorial service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Trinity Methodist Church , 5275 South Lindbergh Blvd , St Louis , MO 63126 . Cremation under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
