Robert Alton Gray Jr.

He was born July 17, 1943 in Fort Smith to Robert and Maxie Warren Gray. He was retired from Rheem after 33 years of service and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam. He was a long time member of St. John’s Episcopal Church and was a former member of the church choir. He loved hunting, fishing, motorcycling, and all kinds of music.

He is survived by his wife Patti of the home; son, John Gray; niece, Shannon and husband Ken Jennings of San Angelo, TX; nephew, Chris and wife Heather Hoffsommer of Van Buren; brother and sister in law, Robert and Sue Helmer of Forest, LA. and many great nieces and nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Cherlynn Gray; and sister, Mary Beth Hoffsommer.

Memorial service will be Monday, May 6, 2024 at 1:00 PM in St. John’s Episcopal Church.
