Ralph Hurst McAdams, 88, of Van Buren, died October 12, 2015 in Van Buren. He was born November 18, 1926 in Van Buren, AR to Joseph Gideon and Jonnie Marie Hurst McAdams. He was a retired Railroad Engineer for Frisco Railroad, a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during World War II, a 32 Degree Mason and member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church of Fort Smith.
He is survived by his wife Maryon “Kitty” McAdams of the home; two daughters, Renee and husband John Greenhaw of Fayetteville, AR and Ann Morocco of Fort Smith; three sons, Robert McAdams of Fort Smith, Jimmy McAdams of Tulsa, OK., and Joey and wife Kayla McAdams of Cord, AR; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughter in law Sherill McAdams and son in law Jim Morocco.
Graveside service will be Friday, October 16, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the U.S. National Cemetery of Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 5-7 PM
