Paul J. Tucker, 85, of Fort Smith passed from this life September 5, 2014 in Fort Smith. He was born to the late John and Fanny Ray Tucker, August 2, 1929 in Fort Smith. He was a member of West-Ark Church of Christ and the Purchasing Agent for Wise Wholesale Electronics for 50 years. He will be remembered for his honesty and wanting to do things the right way. He was proud of being the first President of the Fort Smith Antique Auto Club, and his Model A’s. Paul was active with the Fort Smith Antique Radio Club and the Mid-America Antique Auto Club. He enjoyed hunting a bargain at flea markets and swap meets. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marlene; his son Stanley Tucker of Fort Smith; a daughter, Sharon Partin and her husband Jerry of Yukon, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Kylee McFarland and her husband Chase, Eric Partin, Jolee Tucker and Putman Tucker, as well as one great grandchild, Addison McFarland. Funeral services will be 10:00am Tuesday, September 9, 2014 in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at 3:00pm in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Big Fork, Arkansas near Mena. Viewing will be from 8:00am to 8:00pm Monday, September 8, 2014 at Edwards Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers will be J.P. Willis, Jerry Boyd, Carl Riggins, members of the Fort Smith Antique Car Club, members of the Fort Smith Antique Radio Club and graduates of the Fort Smith High School Class of 1948.
