Paul Jonathan Sexton Sr

Paul Jonathan Sexton, Sr., 63, of Fort Smith, died May 11, 2017 in Fort Smith. He was born January 24, 1954 in Fort Smith, AR to Mathew Cornelias and Ethel Elizabeth Chance Sexton. He was a driver for the Sebastian County Highway Department and a talented musician. Paul has thirteen songs registered with the Library of Congress and he was of the Pentecostal Faith.

He is survived by one daughter, Brandi Glass of Dyer, AR; one son, Paul Sexton, Jr of Fort Smith; two brothers, Leslie Sexton and Terry Sexton both of Fort Smith; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Glen Sexton; and one sister Joanne Simpson.

Memorial service will be Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 3:00 PM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation and services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Leslie Sexton, Shane Sexton, Danny Nelson, George Nelson, Garland Nelson, Willie Nelson, Stone Glass and Dymonde Glass.

The family will greet friends in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel from 2:00 pm until service time on Tuesday.
