Paul Aaron Neu 56, of Muldrow, OK, passed away on August 30, 2021. A beautiful soul went to meet his maker in Heaven. Paul was a God-fearing man who had great love for his family and friends. He viewed everyone around him as equal, especially those in their deepest suffering, which is not always easy. Paul didn’t do things easy. He teased, he worried and he pushed; and when he loved he stood for you as granite, bending only to give his signature bear hug. Time, as always, will move forward. Yet it can be folded back with memories like little origami that we hold within our hearts- until it’s time to see him again.
He was preceded in death by parents, Henry William Neu, Jr. and Dorothy Mae Glass; three brothers, Kenneth and Clayton Neu, Charlie Glass.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Vonetta Neu of Muldrow, OK; three daughters, Christy Greene (Ryan) of Mulberry, AR, Apryl McDaniel (Troy) of Oklahoma City, OK, Nicole Boswell (Chris) of Hot Springs, AR; two grandchildren, Rebecca Boswell and Tanner McDaniel; three brothers, Bobby, Mike and Ray Glass; numerous friends, extended family and his dog, Mazyee.
He worked for the city of Fort Smith for many years and was a faithful member of the Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Roland, Ok.
Graveside service will be 2 PM, Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Roland City Cemetery in Roland, OK. Visitation will be 2 PM till 4 PM, Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Edwards Funeral Home. Services are entrusted to Edwards Funeral Home.
His final words to us all via Facebook were, “Love God with all your heart.”
