Paul L. Kinder, Sr., 88, of Fort Smith, died July 23, 2012 in Fort Smith. He was born March 10, 1924 in Farmington, West Virginia to Samuel and Mary Jarjay Kinder. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force and the 188th Air National Guard. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church where he was a member of the Win One Sunday School Class, and where he served as a former Trustee and Committee Member. He was a Trustee for Shoal Creek Camp and a member of the Barling Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by one daughter, Mary Kinder Stewart of Fort Smith; one son, Paul Kinder, Jr of Chester, AR; three grandchildren, Kimberly Kinder Stanfill, Amy Stewart, and Tory Kinder; and two great grandchildren, Emily and Kobey Stanfill. He was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Belle Kinder, his parents and sisters and brothers.
Funeral service will be Friday, July 27, 2012 at 10:00 am in the Wesley United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the U.S. National Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the Win One Sunday School Class.
The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 5-7 PM
