Oma Lee Vaughan

Oma Lee (Tapp) Vaughan, age 85, passed away in her home in Roland, OK on Sunday May 14, 2023. She was born March 5, 1938 in Crawford County Dora Township to the late Aulbert Tapp And the late Roylee (Hays) Tapp. She was married to the Late Ulysses W. Vaughan for almost 60 years. She was also preceded in death by her siblings Ellen Jane Gregory, James A. Tapp and Beverly Trantham and her great granddaughter Lillian Grace Barnes. She is survived by two daughters, Nancy Smith of Roland, OK and Mona Hicks and Ricky of Roland, OK. Five grandchildren, Lacey Smith-Bobbitt and Barry of Roland, OK, Candice Nugent and Michael of Rogers, AR, Haylee Smith and Mollie of Guthrie, OK, Kayla Barnes and Jerrit of Muldrow, OK and Courtney Freeman and Hunter of Van Buren, AR. She is also survived by sisters Doris Orsbun, Evelyn Yerton and Linda Redden. She had 12 great grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews. Oma Lee was a member of Woodland Hill Assembly of God church in Roland, OK.

Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 7:00pm Wednesday at Edwards Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be 9:30am Thursday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at the Fort Smith National Cemetery at 11:00am.

Reverend Dale Yerton and Reverend Jake Black officiating. Pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons.
