Michael M. Cullen, 90, of Fort Smith, passed away Saturday, October 15th, 2011. He was born July 11, 1921, in Heavener, OK, to the late Michel E. and Belle Hembree Cullen. Mr. Cullen was the former owner, of Fort Smith Office Supply, and was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, the Holy Name Society, Honorary Life Member of 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of the Arkansas Golf Association, and was a past president, of the Arkansas Senior Golf Association, and served on the board of directors, of Fianna Hills Country Club. He served in the Army, during World War II, in the South Pacific, and was a member of the American Legion. He is preceded in death, by three sisters, Jewell Bennett, Ann Presley and Lillian Jarvis, and a brother, Ray Cullen. Mr. Cullen is survived by his loving wife Irene, of the home, two daughters, Lynne Prochaska, of Round Rock, TX, and Cathy Henry and husband Jim, of Fort Smith. He has three sons, Michael A. Cullen, of Alma, Patrick Cullen and Wife Lisa, James Cullen and wife Vicki, both of Fort Smith. He also has sixteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. The Mass will be held at 11 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church, on Tuesday, with Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. The rosary will be 7 p.m. on Monday, at Fentress Mortuary. Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Fred Prochaska, Michael W. Cullen, Robert D. Cullen, Steven C. Cullen, Nick Cullen, Ben Cullen, Chris Cullen, Charles Cullen, Matthew Henry, and Aaron Henry. Mr. Cullen’s granddaughters will serve as honorary pallbearers. They are, Dana Prater, Meghan Cullen, Brianna Cullen, Rachel Henry, Sarah Henry, and Julia Cullen.
