I had the pleasure of going to school with Michael from Kindergarten thru Senior year, only missing a few years due to a move. 

Michael was precious. Ornery but precious. He always teased me in a playful manner and I had no problem with witty comebacks for him. He’d throw his head back in laughter and then hug me. 

I didn’t know this until after we had graduated but Michael was the one who nominated me for Home Coming Queen. He was sweet like that. Though I didn’t win, it was special being recognized. 

We will all miss you terribly, Michael but I know I will see you in streets of gold one day. I can’t wait for another great hug then! I love you friend, always and forever. 

I first met Mike when we competed against each other in high school basketball. I remember two specific plays involving him which we later discussed as we called high school games together. 

He always had a funny story or a joke to share. He enjoyed reffing and did it with joy.

Mike, you are missed, and this world is a little less funny without you in it. Take care, big man.

Had the pleasure of meeting Mike through real estate transaction because like him I’m a Realtor. Loved his no nonsense chatty personality and contagious smile. My heart and prayers for his family. He will be greatly missed.

We didn't know him as well as many others did, but we did have the pleasure of  him reffing our ladies.  He was vibrant and caring. Our condolences to the family. And thank you for your service to our country.

I was working at Hackett School when Michael was serving in Iraq.  Some of our students sent letters and care packages to him.   Upon his return, he came to visit the students to thank them and brought some items to share with them that he collected while there.
The students felt honored that he remembered them.

Michael was such a nice neighbor and a great guy. Will be missed at Grace Community Church. His parents are awesome  friends.  May God comfort them.

There are just no words...this family is very dear to my heart...I don’t know why you left us so young...but the world was a better place for your short visit here -  Heaven just got one very unique and amazing angel...

My husband and I had many opportunities to visit with Mike. He was so funny, always had a smile. We always looked forward to seeing him. He will be greatly missed. Prayers to his friends and family .

I know he always had a smile on his face. He advertised his Real Estate Company as “Not your Grandma’s Real Estate. “ I thought that was so unique and funny.  By the way I am a grandma.  I will pray for your family to be able to find peace during this forever pain.

Mike was a regular at the Starbucks I work at. He always placed mobile orders, and His mobile order name was “Mike *put it in a tall paper cup.*” It always made us giggle that he specified it this way. Every time he came into our store he was a giant smiling face. He was someone we always looked forwarded to serving again and again. We will miss handcrafting his drinks in *a tall paper cup*. He will be missed. 

I worked with Mike for a short period of time, but he made a big impression (easy to do when you're 9 feet tall!) He was so kind and fun to be around.  I'm so sorry for the loss of him.  I know he will be GREATLY missed by many.
