Melissa "Missy" Lynn French

Melissa “Missy” Lynn French, 39, of Fort Smith, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2018. She was born December 6, 1978 in Fort Smith. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was a 1997 graduate of Northside High School, she was a cheerleader. Melissa loved her family dearly. She was preceded in death by her father, Phillip Scott French.

There will be a memorial service held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Harvest Time Tabernacle in Fort Smith. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary in Fort Smith.

She is survived by four children; Ricky, Kaley and Ashley Hayes and Jeremy Arndt; all of Fort Smith, her mother; Jamie Garner and her husband Ronnie of Fort Smith, a sister; Neely Spessard and her husband Brian of Fort Smith, a niece; Amelia Spessard of Fort Smith, a brother; Casey Fleming of Fort Smith, a step brother; Eddie Garner of Florida. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles and cousins; Tricia and James Sloan with Jason Sloan and Bitsy Sloan of Florida, Uncle John and Gladys Collier with Dorothy Collier of Dallas, Aunt Robbie and Jerry Lovell, Ryan Everman and Marylee French.
