Mary Hatfield passed away peacefully in her sleep, at age 90. She is survived by her daughter & son in law, Linda and Mike Strickland, and her grandsons, Jeffrey & Tyler Strickland, and her son & daughter in law, Edmond Hatfield and Teresa Blagg. She recently welcomed her first great grandchild.
Mary worked at the Ft. Smith Credit Bureau for many years, later opening her own successful collection business, Banner Accounts, in Van Buren.
Burial will be private at the National Cemetery, but a public visitation will be held on March 13th from 5-7 pm at Edwards Funeral Home.

Mary will be remembered as a lady with a feisty spirit who loved dogs, puzzles, crime dramas, anything nautical or patriotic, her family and friends, and her church. She will be missed.
