Mary Jane Cobb, 62, of Norman, OK, passed away December 1, 2023, after a lengthy and valiant battle with Ovarian Cancer. She is now free from pain and watches over us, as an Angel in Heaven with her mother, father, and loved ones.
Mary Jane was born February 1, 1961 in Dallas, TX to Donald Gillett and Mary Jean Cobb, who preceded her in death, along with her nephew, John William Cobb.
She is survived by seven siblings, John Cobb of Cotter, AR, Gillett Cobb of Oklahoma City, OK, Ronny Cobb of Mineral Wells, TX, Elizabeth Price of Fort Smith, Chris Cobb of Tulsa, OK, Julie Conley of Fort Smith, and Nancy Dworkin of Naples, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary Jane’s talents were numerous; a gifted artist and antique collector; she enjoyed counted cross-stitch, jigsaw puzzles and loved all sports, especially her beloved Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 5, 2023, from 5 – 7 PM at Edwards Funeral Home.
Graveside Service will be 11 AM Wednesday at Roselawn Cemetery, officiated by Dr. Paul Jacobs.
