Martha M Beam

Martha M. Beam, 82, of Poteau, OK formerly of Fort Smith, died September 24, 2017 in Downey, CA. She was born December 27, 1934 in Oklahoma City, OK to Tommy Nelson and Alice R. Meadors Lack. She was a homemaker and retired Lab Assistant for C.W.S. Labs.

She is survived by two sons, Daniel and wife Laura Beam of Poteau, OK and Jimmy Don and wife Jamie Beam of Oklahoma City, OK; one sister, Tommie Roberson of Downey, CA; seven grandchildren, Daniel Beam, Jr., Sara Beam, Kari Longoria, Michael Beam, Richard Beam, Chris Mann, and Mallory Mann; and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Vern Beam.

Graveside service will be Monday, October 2, 2017 at 12:00 Noon in the U.S. National Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Sunday, from 2-4 PM
