Marjorie Watson Reed, 100, of Fort Smith, passed away March 22, 2021. She was born in Canadian, Oklahoma February 21, 1921. She was the daughter of A.H. (Mace) and Marie Browder Watson. Marjorie was a 1938 graduate of Fort Smith High School. She then went on to graduate from Northeastern State College in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, in 1942. She married James Ralph Reed May 21, 1942. Marjorie retired as the high school librarian in Gunnison, Colorado, and was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Marjorie is survived by her nephew Rex Yancy and special friends Helen Lewis and Milton Boyett. She was preceded in death by her husband Dr. James Ralph Reed.
Viewing will be from 1:00 to 5:00pm Sunday March 28, 2021 at Edwards Funeral Home. Private interment will be at a later date at Fort Smith National Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
