Lola Mae Johnson

Lola Mae Johnson, 88, of Moffett, OK, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017, at Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith. She was born February 28, 1929 in Alma, AR to the late William and Willie Jones. She retired from Okla Homer Smith Furniture Company after 50 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sumnal L. Johnson; her sister, Wanda Jones; and her brothers, Therman Jones, Raymond Jones and Tom Jones.

Funeral service will be 12 Noon Thursday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith, AR.

She is survived by her companion, Joe Ed Reavis of Moffett, OK; her daughter, Shirley Ann Motes of Van Buren, AR; her brother, Richard Jones of San Antonio, TX; two grandchildren, Karen Sue Jones of Van Buren, AR and Darrell Eugene Lincks of Van Buren, AR; three great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; and one great great great grandchild, Oakley Arron Moses.

Pallbearers will be Euell Lee Jones III, Jacob Matthews and Jimmy Brasull.

The family will visit with friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Home.
