Lawrence H. Johnson, Jr.

Lawrence H. Johnson, Jr., 73, of Greenwood, AR passed on July 25, 2020. He was born November 19, 1946 in Whittier, California to Lawrence H. Johnson, Sr. and Elise Mae Meacom Johnson. He was a Navy Vietnam Veteran.

Survivors include his loving wife, Lorisa Johnson of Greenwood; seven children, Yvette Boyles of Adrian, MO, Michelle Beckwith of Adrian, MO, Chris Johnson of Pea Ridge, Erin Wright of Bokoshe, OK, Crystal Widger of Fayetteville, Michael Southard of Rogers, Jesse Southard of Durant, OK; one sister, Patricia Shaw of Kingfisher, OK; one brother, Robert Teague of CA; seventeen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Lawrence’s Life will be held at 11:30 AM, Friday, July 31, 2020 at Edwards Funeral Home. Burial with full military honors will be held at 1 PM, Friday, July 31, 2020 at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith. Viewing will be 1 PM till 7 PM, Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Edwards Funeral Home. Services are entrusted to Edwards Funeral Home.
