Laura Suzanne (Allen) Hood, 58 passed away on November 4, 2022. Laura was born on February 11, 1964 to Anthony & Marilyn Allen in Evansville, IN. When she was five her family moved to Fort Smith, AR. She graduated from south side high school and then got her Bachelor of Science degree in Business administration.
She worked many jobs making her way up to the Vice President of the credit service company. She married the love of her life Jack Hood on August 1, 1989. She was a devoted Christian, volunteered and was on the board for many charities such as DOE network and AR collectors Association.
She was an artist at heart and shared that passion with many people from painting, to photography, scrapbooking and crafts. When her and Jack weren’t traveling she loved to be at the lake and sit on the deck enjoying nature's beauty.
Laura is survived by her husband of 33 years Jack Hood, her son Tyler Hood, two grandchildren Lilly and Myla, parents Anthony & Marilyn Allen, siblings Kaye, Leslie, and Tony and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her aunt Jackie, grandma Greene, grandpa Allen, grandma Dorothy,grandpa Jay and great grandma Lola.
